Photoshop Actions
I've created 5 actions in Photoshop CS5 that will be compatible with versions CS2 through CS6 of Photoshop on either Mac or PC. Each action gives a different type of feel to the photo depending on the tone you are looking for*. The actions are named as follows:
- Lighter Tones
- Deep Tones
- Foggy Tones
- Film Tones
- B&W Film

* Disclaimer: Because every photograph taken is going to be different in certain ways, (camera used, focus, lighting, tone, color, etc.), sometimes it may take some tweaking of the actions to get it where you want. The layers are easily adjustable by either layer mask or changing the opacity. These actions are optimized to work best on well-exposed pictures. It’s the best base to start from.
