A marriage license in Pima County (where Tucson is located) costs $83.00, and can be paid via check.
Your wedding ceremony can be performed by any priest/minister/rabbi/etc., a judge, or anybody else who’s a licensed officiant.
Yes, you’ll need two witnesses to sign your marriage license who are at least 18 years old.
Nope! There’s no waiting period to use your Arizona marriage license, so you can get legally married as soon as you have it. This means you won’t need to build any waiting time into your trip to Tucson if you’re traveling from out of state.
Once you obtain your Arizona marriage license, it’ll be valid for up to 12 months.
To get your Arizona marriage license, you & your partner will both need to go to one of the local Justice Court offices in person, each with a valid government-issued photo I.D. and your Social Security Number. You’ll be sworn in and will sign two affidavits confirming that your personal info is correct, and they’ll walk you through the rest of the process once you’re there in person.
