VERMONT BRIDALS With Erika & Christian and HER Horse
The day after Erika and Christian’s wedding, we returned to her family’s property in Vermont for a relaxed portrait session that included her horse. I absolutely love day after sessions! They allow couples to be much more present on the wedding day but still get the portraits they want later on. The slower pace allowed space to document a relationship with Macey that’s been part of Erika’s life for years. Macey is Erika’s horse whom is now in her senior years and has been such a big part of Erika’s life. They have traveled over hundreds of miles of terrain together, won blue ribbons in the show ring, galloped through the carriage roads in Acadia National Park, swam in lakes, and gone for countless cart and sleigh rides. It was such a fun way to end the wedding weekend with them and be able to document such special portraits for Erika & Christian. Check out their wedding day here!
