Kelli & Carson traveled from Nebraska to Yosemite National Park with their families for an intimate elopement. For most people, this was their first time visiting Yosemite and what a perfect day we had. From sunrise to sunset we had beautiful blue skies. We really lucked out because the next day a massive rain storm blew through the valley. Their day began with a sunrise first look and private vows at Glacier Point, followed by a ceremony with family overlooking the valley. From a photography stand point, one moment I really loved during their vows (which you’ll see below) was when the sun crested over the horizon and instantly filled the valley with beautiful blue and gold hues. Later that evening, we headed out to Taft Point for sunset portraits along the cliffs until the light disappeared. Everything was photographed on 120 and 35mm film between my Pentax 645n & Canon EOS 3.
