Lake Powell Engagement
Not many couples are up for waking up hours before sunrise to make a trek out to the middle of nowhere, but Sarah + Daniel were more than up for the adventure! We met up around 5am before starting the hour and a half drive out to the most beautiful lookout. While we were starting in Arizona, we actually ended up crossing into Utah for the first part of the session. We rolled up just prior to the sun coming up. Sarah had picked out some beautiful dresses (and one epic jumpsuit) for the shoot. It was really fun mixing up different looks with the locations. We shot for awhile before driving back into town and parting ways for a couple hours to get a nap in. Later in the evening we met back up to hike out to Horseshoe Bend for sunset. It's one of the most epic places to watch a sunset from and it was so fun getting to show them around there as it was there first time visiting. It's truly incredible to see in person whether it's your first or tenth time. It was such a good time hanging out with Sarah + Daniel. It felt like we had been friends for years which made the shoot so fluid and easy. They totally crushed it. Already looking forward to their wedding next year!
